Raptor (Photo Reference)
After completing a wonderful painting workshop at the George C McGough Nature Preserve, the attendants began taking out the large predators and when this woman held up her raptor and flinched away, I snapped the shot. I love images that tell a story. The exotic quality of the bird and the way the light falls over the figure turning away was captivating and irresistible.
