Who are those other members of the family that don’t go to college… that don’t get a job… that don’t pay for their own medical bills! And those wild, amazing creatures that run the savannahs in exotic places…What? I think it’s amazing that we, as human beings, can invite another species into our lives and into our homes yet can’t seem to get along with our own, from one minute to the next. We are attached and bonded to our pets and fascinated with the animals of this world in a way that defies explanation. And I’m right there with the rest!  I yearn to see more, do more with and have more animals…..just can’t afford it. So I paint them…with great affection.
