Born and raised in NYC, I’ve always love the sound of the traffic and the vibrant lights, and the bustle of humanity on the streets…..24/7!!! That’s what makes some people nuts, but I remember going to sleep with the sound of the cars outside my bedroom window on 50th street and 1st Ave. in Manhattan when I was 5 years old!  It doesn’t matter what time of day or night, there is ALWAYS something to do, something to see. It’s  a dance of light and sound and movement. How can I capture that in a snapshot of time, that once I’ve put it down with my pastels, is still forever. I keep trying though.
